My Story

Hey I'm Hunter! Physical therapist, run coach, Friday pizza enthusiast. My running journey dates back to middle school cross country and dabbling in track during high school. I continued to run recreationally throughout college at Clemson University where I majored in psychology and graduate school at Belmont University, earning my doctorate in physical therapy.  I really began to fall in love with the sport as I began my career as a physical therapist. Working in that field has given me the privilege to come alongside injured runners and help them get back to doing what they love. I began to explore the world of triathlons as well and have been competing in races ranging from sprint up to half Ironman distances. This is where I began to see the value in cross training and learned how to incorporate cycling and swimming into my routine. But most importantly, I've experienced what it is like to work with a coach who knows how to progress my training, holds me accountable to my goals, celebrates my wins, and encourages me to be the best version of myself.

Which brings me to today - my passion is helping others reach their potential, showing them what they are capable of achieving, and hopefully creating a space where they can find joy in running. Everyone has their own reasons for running - the value of fitness, the peace of mental clarity, the challenge of exploring their limits, the warmth of community, the thrill of crossing the finish line, something bigger than themselves. Whatever your reason is, I'd love to have the chance to help bring it to life!
